Whicker was founded in 2026 by Molly Webster, a 17 year old rider and entrepreneur from Wellington, New Zealand.

The idea for the Whicker Sweatband came from a simple, everyday frustration. As a dedicated rider, Molly loved spending time in the saddle but disliked the sweat, discomfort, and helmet hair that came with every ride.

She found herself wondering, Why isn't there a sweatband designed specifically for equestrians? When she couldn't find one, she decided to create it herself.

What began as a personal solution soon became a mission to help other riders feel more comfortable, confident, and focused in the saddle.

Whicker was created with the belief that riders shouldn't have to choose between enjoying their sport and feeling comfortable afterwards. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed with the needs of equestrians in mind.

Alongside building Whicker, Molly continues to balance school, riding, and business. Her passion for horses, dressage, and her pony, Lewis, continues to shape the brand and inspire every step of its journey.
